From a young age, I was the child who asked “why?” long after everyone else had moved on. Why do certain advertisements make you cry in 30 seconds? Why do some news headlines spread faster than others? Why does one Instagram post get thousands of likes while another, almost identical one, gets ignored?

These questions didn’t just stay in my head. They drove me to action. By age 15, I was managing the social media accounts for my school’s student council, growing our Instagram following by 40% in six months. At 16, I produced a short documentary on food waste in our canteen that was screened during assembly. At 17, I started a small newsletter for my CCA—not because anyone asked me to, but because I saw that information wasn’t reaching the right people.
