TikTok’s heuristic detection is very good. If their server detects you are using a modified client (different API signature), they will shadowban you. Your views will drop to zero, but you won't be told why. The Verdict: Should you sideload it? Use a Burner Account. If you want to test the download features, create a brand new TikTok account with a burner email. Never, ever log into your main account that has 10k+ followers or your personal information.
