But the Archive was failing. Every morning, another drawing would be smeared, another knotted string untied. The "Color Orange" section was now just blank rock. The idea for "laughter" had faded to a single, sad chortle drawn in charcoal.
Guy, humbled, nodded. "You're right. An Archive that can be destroyed... is a bad Archive."
