LGBTQ+ culture is not a costume party. It is not a parade for corporations. It is a liferaft. And the trans community is not a "complicated" part of that raft—they are the ones who have been patching the holes while the rest of us slept.
We do not get to celebrate Pride without fighting for trans existence. We do not get to claim "love" while ignoring "identity." And we certainly do not get to stand on the shoulders of trans ancestors and then pretend we don't see their descendants drowning.
