Just in case she’s listening.”

Polly studied the photograph with her obsidian eyes. Paradisebirds Polly-

“Where do you go?” her mother asked, voice cracking. “I replay memories,” Polly said

“My dad moved out today,” Juniper said. “I replay memories

It was home.

That was not one of her three hundred phrases. Juniper was sure of it.
