Checkpoint placement is a little cruel – one mistake in the final 20 seconds sends you back three phases. Also, the audio cue for the unblockable low attack is too subtle for a round this demanding.

Round 13 finally raises the stakes. Enemy patterns are faster, less telegraphed, and the health pool feels perfectly tuned to force you to use all your mechanics. The mid-round “surge” event (new in this update) adds genuine pressure without feeling cheap. Visual clarity remains top-notch, even when the screen gets crowded. Knockout Master Round 13
