On the third night, Leo tried to quit the game. The “Exit to Desktop” button was grayed out. Alt+F4 did nothing. Task Manager couldn’t kill it. A new message appeared in the command-line window he’d left open: [USER: Leo_88] - Integrity check failed. Initiating remediation.
Leo grinned. He was a god.
Then, the anomalies began.

Leo knew the risks. A ban would mean a permanent exile from Horizon Britain. But the thought of replaying those tedious showcase events, of grinding for another million credits… it broke him. He downloaded the 47MB file. The icon was a cracked gear.
