A new window will pop up with a list of languages.

On the touchscreen, you’ll see a grid of icons. You’re looking for the one that looks like a wrench or gear (usually the bottom row, second or third from the left). The Japanese text next to it will be 設定 (Settings). You’re looking for the one that looks like

Scroll down the list until you see 言語 (Language). It’s often near the bottom of the System menu.

A dialog box will appear asking you to confirm. The left button is usually No (いいえ), and the right button is Yes (はい). Tap the right button (Yes).
