It was purely grassroots. No corporate sponsorship filters. You'd get senior engineers from Rozetka, MacPaw, or Grammarly giving raw, unfiltered talks. Their job board was surprisingly good for 2015-2019.
Also, side question: Are the organizers still running any events under a new name? I moved to Kyiv last year and everyone tells me "Oh, Codec was the place to go," but nobody knows what happened after 2022.
